So what is it all about?

We are introducing a means whereby readers can communicate safely and anonymously with the authors of the books they read. Wow!

If you are an author you can opt into IMpress using the AUTHOR options in your publishing suite. If you are not interested just leave yourself opted out.

This is coming early in 2025 at which point if you are opted in, you will see a new option in the publishing suite called Impress.

This will allow you to receive messages from our members who have bought your books and respond to them. Your email address and the customer will remain hidden. Likewise any customer buying a book which is opted into IMpress will see a new option so they can send an anonymous message to the author. We are still working out how to turn the concept into a conversation highway and also to allow authors to flag anything abusive so we can deal with it.

For now, and there will be more news next year, if this is something you want to be involved in, please opt into IMpress using the option in the AUTHORS area of your publishing suite.
